Lady Charm Series

Each Lady Charm has her own enchanting, magical quality. The ladies were originally inspired by the artist's own playful, childhood imaginations. She used to spend hours drawing mythical creatures, and pretend to be that new little storybook personality for a short time. 'Part Cat and Part Bird' (1987) was one of the later images she created with a dueling feature incorporated into a single being. The eyes seem to reveal child like naiveté yet at the same time cast a gaze of seasoned maturity. The original drawing was modified in 2000 to give an updated, more finished appearance. And renamed Lucky Lady Charm. The first of the Lady Charms was designed in 2001 as a natural step in the progression of the artist's flight of imagination. The faces and personalities of the Ladies rejoice in honor of womanhood, feminine beauty, maturity, fashion and celebrity.
